Terms of use

The terms for using the Homeroll website and its call and text service.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of homerollfl.com and Homeroll's call and text service. Homeroll is a trading name of SureArm Consulting Ltd ("Homeroll", "we", "us"). By sending a request or using the website, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. What Homeroll does

2.1 Homeroll is an introduction service. We pass your request to an independent local business (a "partner") and connect you by call or text. We do not charge you for this. The partner quotes you for any work, and you pay the partner directly.

2.2 Partners are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Your agreement for any work is with the partner, who sets the price, does the work and takes payment.

2.3 We check that partners hold a business registration and liability insurance when they join. We do not supervise their work and do not guarantee its quality, price, timing or availability.

2.4 We do not guarantee that a partner will be available for every request.

3. Your request

3.1 You must be at least 18 and give accurate details, including a cell phone number that is yours.

3.2 You agree to be contacted about your request as set out in the consent you gave on the form.

3.3 You may not send fake requests, requests for someone else without their permission, or requests outside our service areas on purpose.

4. Problems with a partner

4.1 Any complaint about a partner's work, price or conduct is between you and the partner. Please also tell us at hello@homerollfl.com, as we use complaints to decide which partners receive requests.

5. Our liability

5.1 The website and service are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

5.2 We are not liable for a partner's work, conduct, prices or any damage, injury or loss they cause.

5.3 Our total liability to you for anything to do with Homeroll is limited to $100. We are not liable for indirect losses.

5.4 Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Website content

6.1 The Homeroll name, logo and website content belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission.

6.2 Prices and guides on the website are general information. Your partner's quote is what applies.

7. Disputes, arbitration and class action waiver

7.1 Please contact us first at hello@homerollfl.com. Most problems can be solved this way.

7.2 Individual arbitration. You and Homeroll agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, the website or the Homeroll service, including any dispute about calls, text messages or other automated communications, by binding individual arbitration and not in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section 7.

7.3 Arbitration will be run by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules and will take place in Palm Beach County, Florida, or by phone or video. Homeroll will pay the filing and arbitrator fees the rules require a business to pay.

7.4 Small claims. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court in Palm Beach County, Florida, if the claim qualifies.

7.5 Class action waiver. You and Homeroll may bring claims only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action. An arbitrator may not combine the claims of more than one person.

7.6 Opting out. You can opt out of this section 7 by emailing hello@homerollfl.com within 30 days of first agreeing to these terms.

7.7 Apart from this section 7, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute not sent to arbitration or small claims court goes to the state and federal courts in Palm Beach County, Florida.

8. Changes and transfer

8.1 We can change these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in force when you send a request applies to it.

8.2 We may transfer or assign these terms and the Homeroll service to any company within our group, including a parent company or a future US entity, or to a buyer of the business.

9. Text messages

If you send a request, Homeroll and the partner it connects you with may call and text you about that request, as set out in the consent on the form. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
